Overview
Led the comprehensive redesign of Smart Selangor, a government parking management application serving millions of users in Selangor, Malaysia. The project focused on modernizing the interface, improving accessibility, and streamlining the parking payment and location discovery experience.
The Challenge
The existing app had a dated interface with poor navigation structure, making it difficult for users to quickly find parking locations and complete transactions. User complaints highlighted issues with the login process, map usability, and overall information hierarchy.
The Solution
Conducted extensive user research and competitive analysis to identify pain points. Redesigned the entire app with a focus on intuitive navigation, clear visual hierarchy, and modern UI patterns. Simplified the login flow with biometric authentication and social login options. Rebuilt the location finder with an improved map interface, clearer location categorization, and prominent search functionality. Implemented a bottom navigation bar for quick access to key features.
