Overview

Built an intelligent content curation platform using Google Opal that leverages AI to create personalized TED Talk learning paths based on users' goals, interests, and emotional states. The platform analyzes thousands of TED Talks and matches them to user inputs to create meaningful educational journeys.

The Challenge

With thousands of TED Talks available, users often feel overwhelmed when trying to find relevant content for their specific learning goals. Traditional search and browse methods don't provide personalized learning paths or consider the user's current emotional state and learning preferences.

The Solution

Leveraged Google Opal to develop a full-stack application with an intuitive interface where users enter their learning goals, moods, or topics of interest. Implemented an AI-powered recommendation engine using GPT-4 that analyzes user inputs, maps them to TED Talk metadata (transcripts, topics, speakers), and generates curated playlists with explanations. Built features for saving playlists, tracking watched content, and community sharing.
